BOOK REPAIR AND RESTORATION IN SURREY

In all the years that we have been bookbinding, we have never come across a book that is beyond repair. Any work we do will be completely sensitive to the age and history of the book, maintaining as much of the original as possible and using archivally sound acid free materials where appropriate. There may even be an occasion when we do not recommend doing anything to a book if, for example, it is a rare first edition. In these instances, we could make a box to fit the book exactly and keep it safe from further deterioration. We are happy to discuss any book with no obligation – we love talking about books!
